Hunting

Bird hunting is a very popular sport in Iceland, the main species being the migrating geese (the greylag and the pink footed geese) and the arctic ptarmagan.  The geese season is September/October and the ptarmagan season is limited to Friday – Sunday from late October to early December.  We can arrange guided hunting trips but you have to bring your own equipment and hold valid licenses from your home countries.
