Best tour company we ever had – Iceland cruise Reykjavik port: We (12 of us) were on the Holland Prinsendam, July 2013 and had a 2 day tour of Reykjavik lined up with Jon of BR Tours. Our ship got stock in Amsterdam for several days due to mechanical issues, so Holland rearranged our schedule and now only had one day in Reykjavik. Jon arranged a 14 hr tour (which included a box lunch as we requested so we ate as he drove to save time). We did the 2 day tour in the one day and saw all the highlights: Thingvellir National Park, Waterfall Gullfoss, Kerid, Eldhestar horse farm, Hellisheidi Geothermal Power Plant, swam in Blue Lagoon, Reykjavik City Tour, hot spring Gunnuhver & of course the Geysir. I can’t rave enough how accommodating BR Tours was to our change of schedule – Jon did an EXCELLENT job! We’re coming back to Reykjavik in Sept 2015 and planning a South Coast of Iceland tour with them again – I know we won’t be disappointed!
Apart from being very knowledgeable about the finer details on the attractions such as the best times and best locations, Jon was also very willing to accommodate to our requests. He was also honest and had integrity, he was genuinely interested in giving us the best experience in Iceland.
Absolutely fun and amazing experience. Worth every moment.
